The latex-free Volkmann thoracic trocars are designed to be used in thoracoscopic and other minimally invasive procedures to provide access for instruments into the thoracic cavity when insufation is not required.
- The thoracic trocars consist of a blunt tip obturator to prevent damage to internal structures and a wide threaded cannula to provide stability and reduce cannula movement during instrument manipulation and exchange.
- The spiral cannula of thoracic trocars allows for greater adhesion of the trocar to the tissue, contributing to its stable fixation in the wound.
- Available in 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15 mm diameters. Each size is color coded for easy identification.
- The triangular cover is provided with beveled ends, allowing for comfortable hand keeping and facilitating trocar insertion with minimal error risk.
- Product sterile and for single use.
